AVID and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA)

 

As schools and districts look to fund the AVID program, it's important to understand how the AVID program meets many of the rules for various stimulus funds.

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) provides $650 million via competitive grants through the Investing in Innovation (i3) Fund which is allocated for school districts (LEAs) that partner with proven non-profit educational organizations such as AVID. The Department of Education will release the RFP for Investing in Innovation (i3) Fund grants within the next few weeks. AVID Center would be delighted to partner with your district to apply for these funds.
