Strategies for Implementing Guided Pathways and Accelerating the Completion Agenda
Posted by AVID Center on 5/28/2019
Guided Pathways lead to more student-centered colleges and replace barriers to student success with clear paths to graduation. While Guided Pathways sound like common sense, the changes they require are not always easy to identify or implement. Watch this free webinar to learn how to create Guided Pathways that are more than just words on a paper from practitioners at AVID partner colleges who have done this work on their own campuses. Presenters include educators from Odessa College, one of the nation’s top community colleges that has been recognized by The Aspen Institute as a Rising Star for rapid improvement in student outcomes. Odessa College is a finalist for the 2019 Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence as well. We also feature Amarillo College, winner of the 2019 Leah Meyer Austin Award from Achieving the Dream for their bold changes to rapidly increase student success on their campus.
