Strategic Leadership for College and Career Readiness 2: Culture (2024–25)

Strategic Leadership for College and Career Readiness 2: Culture (2024–25)

The Strategic Leadership for College and Career Readiness 2: Culture Community of Practice engages teams of three or more members of district- and school-based leadership. This Community of Practice emphasizes that a culture grounded in relational capacity, collective educator agency, and meeting the needs of each student is foundational for preparing all students to be college- and career-ready. Culture is instrumental in establishing aligned and interdependent systems, ensuring mission- and vision-driven leadership, and fostering a rigorous instructional framework so that all students are on the path to college and career readiness. Participants will learn strategies to create an intentional culture that aligns values and beliefs to the structures, processes, and opportunities that exist in a school site. They will also utilize tools and resources to create an effective plan for sustaining a culture that allows students to achieve their college and career goals. All strategies, digital activities, and digital tools experienced in this Community of Practice can be leveraged in face-to-face, blended, or virtual learning environments.
