The Rising School Administrator Academy is a cohort-based experience for educators seeking to transition from roles such as teacher, instructional coach, counselor, or dean to building-level administrative positions, such as assistant principal or principal, that focuses on the mindset shift and systems-level thinking required for successful school leadership. This experience supports reflection, collaboration, and the application of practice while honoring the realities of a full professional schedule.

Why This Academy Is Different

While certification programs often concentrate on leadership theory and administrative tasks, the Rising School Administrator Academy centers on the transition into administration By strengthening professional identity, self‑awareness, interpersonal leadership, and understanding of schoolwide systems, the academy reduces the gap many rising leaders experience between earning certification and being ready to lead as an administrator.

Participants will join a cohort of peers navigating similar leadership transitions and, together, build clarity, confidence, and readiness for the shift from peer to positional leadership.
