Showcase Focus:
AVID: It's not what we do, It's who we are - Through WICOR strategies (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading), every student is given the opportunity to grow, not only in the AVID classroom but across all subjects. We’re empowering students with the tools to excel in school, college, and beyond. We begin the year by focusing on Organization and Collaboration, building a strong foundation and family-like dynamic that prepares us to tackle greater challenges later on.
Does “All Students” Mean “All Students” at Your School or District?
We invite superintendents, district leadership, principals, and teacher leaders to see how schools are implementing AVID nationwide to:
Ensure student success by incorporating WICOR® (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) strategies throughout all classrooms to support increased rigor schoolwide.
Provide ongoing professional learning for staff and site-based coaching.
Build collective educator agency to transform culture in support of all students.
Align the K–12 college and career readiness journey.
