This is a 2-School Showcase, we will begin at El Monte Middle School highlighting AVID Excel, Critical Reading, and Academic Conversations. Then we will move to Orosi High School to see AVID Working in Partnership with Academies and WICOR

We will begin the day at El Monte Middle School (42111 Rd 128, Orosi, CA 93647) and end our day at Orosi High School (41815 Rd 128, Orosi, CA 93647). EMMS - Park at the south end of the parking lot under the solar panels AND OHS - Park in the student parking lot which is on Ave 419, or in the Step Up parking lot which is on the corner of Ave 419 and Rd 128. Please provide your ID at the front desk at El Monte Middle School for your visitor's badge. You can keep the same badge to visit both sites.
An AVID Showcase is an in-person event where educators can observe AVID strategies in action, share best practices, and learn hands-on about AVID implementations. The experience includes classroom observations, discussions with experienced AVID teachers, administrators, and students, and access to various AVID resources and tools.
Participants are responsible for travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements to and from the event.
