Showcase Focus:
Experience how WICOR—Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading—comes to life in classrooms across the school to create a culture of high expectations and deeper learning. During this showcase, visitors will see how educators intentionally embed WICOR strategies into daily instruction to promote critical thinking, academic discourse, and student ownership of learning. Through classroom visits and conversations with staff and students, participants will witness how a shared commitment to WICOR has elevated rigor schoolwide, ensuring that all students are engaged, challenged, and prepared for success beyond the classroom.

An AVID Showcase is an in-person event where educators can observe AVID strategies in action, share best practices, and learn hands-on about AVID implementations. The experience includes classroom observations, discussions with experienced AVID teachers, administrators, and students, and access to various AVID resources and tools.
Participants are responsible for travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements to and from the event.
