Empowering Futures: How AVID Cultivates Student Success and Achievement - Ridge Point High School is proud to highlight its commitment to teaching and learning through intentional actions that drive student success and achievement. During the showcase, you will experience AVID tutorials and an AVID Elective content lesson, demonstrating how AVID strategies empower students. Additionally, you'll see how WICOR (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) is integrated across all content areas to engage and challenge learners. To further enrich the experience, the Site Team and Student Panel will share best practices, offer valuable insights, and answer your questions.

Please check in at the front office with your ID. Parking is on the East side of the building in a unnumbered spot. Breakfast will be provided.
An AVID Showcase is an in-person event where educators can observe AVID strategies in action, share best practices, and learn hands-on about AVID implementations. The experience includes classroom observations, discussions with experienced AVID teachers, administrators, and students, and access to various AVID resources and tools.
Participants are responsible for travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements to and from the event.
