Building Academic Preparedness for College Credit Courses (2025–26)

The Building Academic Preparedness for College Credit Courses Community of Practice supports the integration of AVID resources into Dual Enrollment, Early College High School, Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, and postsecondary programs. Participants will engage with the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework and Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR®) strategies and learn how to utilize them to improve student readiness for college success. Participants will leverage higher-level thinking strategies to support all students while deepening their practices by applying the AVID Essential Skills.
