Developing Critical Thinking: Computer Science Across Disciplines – PreK–12 (2026–27)
Starting in June 2026

Developing Critical Thinking: Computer Science Across Disciplines Community of Practice, in collaboration with Amazon Future Engineer, empowers educators to integrate computer science and computational thinking into any subject area. Through hands-on, unplugged activities and digital tools, participants explore how problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration enhance student learning across disciplines. This course uniquely blends computer science concepts with WICOR® strategies and the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework, providing practical strategies to build student agency and prepare learners for a tech-driven future.
