Showcase Focus:
AVID: Inspires Today, Innovates Tomorrow: AVID functions as a dynamic system that sustains excellence and adapts to change. With over 400 students in the AVID Elective and expanded opportunities in Math, the system empowers learners to thrive academically and prepare for college and careers. Its success is driven by a collaborative model that unites new and veteran teachers, blending experience with fresh perspectives to innovate. The results speak for themselves, as AVID students consistently outperform their peers and, at times, even state averages, reflecting a shared commitment to intentionality, resilience, equity, and excellence.
Does “All Students” Mean “All Students” at Your School or District?

We invite superintendents, district leadership, principals, and teacher leaders to see how schools are implementing AVID nationwide to:

  • Ensure student success by incorporating WICOR® (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) strategies throughout all classrooms to support increased rigor schoolwide.

  • Provide ongoing professional learning for staff and site-based coaching.

  • Build collective educator agency to transform culture in support of all students.

  • Align the K–12 college and career readiness journey.
