Event Focus:
Discover how the new AVID Elementary Implementation Tool can support continuous improvement across classrooms and schoolwide systems. Participants will examine the tool's indicators and progression model, explore connections to the AVID Essential Skills: Elementary Descriptors, and identify the educator actions that foster student agency, academic preparedness, and opportunity knowledge across grade spans. By the end of the session, participants will understand how to use the tool to facilitate reflection, coach implementation, identify priorities, and develop actionable next steps. Dedicated collaboration time will allow teams to begin planning implementation and rollout efforts for their schools.
