A Focused Path Forward
Path Premium is a 3-day regional professional learning experience designed for teams who want dedicated time to move from learning into implementation.
It builds on the foundation of AVID Path to Schoolwide and adds key elements of AVID Summer Institute to deliver high-quality professional learning in a more focused, team-centered format.
Through structured collaboration, enhanced sessions, and intentional planning time, educators leave with clear next steps, not just ideas.
How Path Premium Builds on Path to Schoolwide
Path Premium extends the learning from Path to Schoolwide into deeper, team-based implementation by expanding the experience from two days to three. While Path to Schoolwide introduces AVID strategies and systems, Path Premium provides additional opportunities for collaboration and planning so teams have the time and structure they need to apply that learning with clarity and alignment.
What to Expect
You’ll experience focused professional learning designed to support implementation, with enhancements that strengthen collaboration, connection, and impact:
- A dedicated 3-day experience with intentional AVID Site Team planning time
- Locally selected speakers that strengthen community connection
- Intentional college partnership touchpoints
- Morning coffee provided daily
- Lunch provided on Days 1 and 2
General Session: The AVID Experience
Attend an inspiring session featuring students and educators who will share how AVID strengthens students’ voice, elevates educators’ practice, and advances leadership.
Communities of Practice
Deepen expertise through role‑alike collaboration and shared experiences. Strengthen your instructional strategies and build practical approaches that advance schoolwide systems and support student success. Sessions are designed for AVID Elective and content teachers, counselors, administrators, and district leaders.
Site Team Time
Engage in dedicated time with your AVID Site Team to foster clarity, alignment, and coherence so that every team can return ready to expand opportunity for their students. New sites build shared foundations and set meaningful goals, experienced teams refine their plans for the year ahead, and individual participants reflect and connect with peers.
University-Hosted Experience
Engage in professional learning in a local college or university setting that brings added energy, relevance, and connection to the experience. This unique environment reinforces college and career readiness while creating space for meaningful collaboration with educators in your region.
Enjoy a streamlined experience with grab-and-go lunch and coffee and tea service provided so your team can stay focused, connected, and fully engaged throughout the day.
