At a time of resource scarcity, competing commitments, and higher-than-ever expectations, site and district leaders are challenged to be calculated in their thinking, efficient in their actions, and impactful in their results. AVID can be a solution to the systemic challenges of education today and in the future. But, ensuring that outcome requires specific leadership moves aligned to a clear vision for AVID’s purpose and intent. This work session will explore how leaders can position AVID for maximum impact and investigate the strategic action necessary to ensure a strong return on an AVID investment. Teams will focus on deeper integration of AVID into existing systems to improve educator performance and student outcomes.
