Event Focus:
Join AVID and Highlands Middle School for a day of learning focused on supporting multilingual learners through rigorous and engaging instruction. Participants will visit AVID Excel classrooms, hear directly from students and site leaders, and explore how AVID strategies and systems can strengthen outcomes for multilingual learners. The afternoon will bring district and school leaders together for an MLL Leadership Roundtable to connect, share practices, and consider implications for their own schools and districts.
This symposium is designed for district and school-based leaders who support multilingual learners and will provide opportunities to see the work in action, learn from colleagues, and leave with ideas to strengthen MLL programming and instruction.
