Empowering Students Through AVID: Building Student Agency; Navigating Change Through the Use of Data: Ready to strengthen AVID implementation and empower students to take greater ownership of their success? Join fellow AVID Elective Teachers, Site Coordinators, and District Directors for an engaging professional learning experience designed to turn ideas into action. Explore how the Continuous Improvement Cycle and purposeful use of data can help you identify needs, overcome implementation barriers, and move your AVID work forward. Then, dive into practical strategies for building student agency through grit, self-advocacy, leadership, and ownership. Throughout the experience, participants will collaborate, share ideas, and problem-solve with colleagues facing similar challenges. You'll leave with practical strategies, fresh ideas, and connections you can take back to your campus or district. And because some of the best AVID ideas come from one another, we'll also make time to network, connect, and learn from fellow AVID educators across the region.
