AVID Excel Elective Level 2: Scholar Groups and Refining Implementation (2025–26)
The AVID Excel Elective Level 2: Scholar Groups and Refining Implementation Community of Practice focuses on deepening the implementation of foundational AVID Excel scaffolds, routines, and lessons while deepening critical reading skills and rigorous text-based analysis. Participants will experience key components of the Scholar Groups Lesson Series and use a diagnostic lens to explore grade-level-specific resources to facilitate Scholar Groups that develop rigorous academic preparedness and empower AVID Excel scholars to activate their agency.
