AVID Excel Elective Level 2: Scholar Groups and Refining Implementation (2026–27)
Starting in June 2026
AVID Excel Elective Level 2: Scholar Groups and Refining Implementation Community of Practice equips AVID Excel educators to refine foundational routines and implement Scholar Groups that accelerate language acquisition and deepen text-based analysis. Participants explore diagnostic teaching, critical reading strategies, and scaffolded instruction using AVID’s Digital Planning Guides. With a focus on rigorous academic preparedness, this course fosters classrooms where emerging bilingual learners can exercise their agency.
