Vision to Reality: AVID Elementary at English Landing
We invite site directors, principals, instructional coaches, and teachers to visit English Landing and experience AVID in action. Our focus for the 2026-2027 school year is deepening our understanding of AVID's newly piloted Implementation Tool while revisiting and strengthening the AVID Essentials at the elementary level. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to see: WICOR strategies integrated throughout classrooms A strong college- and career-ready culture Consistent student and staff binder expectations Student ownership of learning AVID systems that support achievement for all learners For the past nine years, English Landing has remained committed to building a schoolwide AVID culture that supports academic success, student engagement, and leadership development. An AVID Showcase is an in-person event where educators can observe AVID strategies in action, share best practices, and learn hands-on about AVID implementations. The experience includes classroom observations, discussions with experienced AVID teachers, administrators, and students, and access to various AVID resources and tools.
Participants are responsible for travel, lodging, and transportation arrangements to and from the event.
