Showcase Focus:
Every student. Every classroom. Every day. Our schoolwide AVID approach ensures that all students have access to the skills and strategies they need to succeed. With AVID-trained teachers, we are increasing the use of WICOR across classrooms to strengthen learning, engagement, and academic independence. Our AVID Elective provides an intentional space for students to further develop college and career readiness skills, while schoolwide AVID practices create consistency in how we support students across campus.
Does “All Students” Mean “All Students” at Your School or District?

We invite superintendents, district leadership, principals, and teacher leaders to see how schools are implementing AVID nationwide to:

  • Ensure student success by incorporating WICOR® (Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading) strategies throughout all classrooms to support increased rigor schoolwide.

  • Provide ongoing professional learning for staff and site-based coaching.

  • Build collective educator agency to transform culture in support of all students.

  • Align the K–12 college and career readiness journey.
