Event Description:
Site leaders (principals and Site Coordinators) play an important role in leading Site Teams. Site Team time at Summer Institute sets the foundation for quality implementation and engagement with the AVID implementation instruments, which support the continuous improvement process at sites. This session is intended for district and site leaders, including principals and Site Coordinators, who are leading Site Team time at Summer Institute or who want to learn more about leading Site Team work. During the first portion of learning, we will focus on understanding the different opportunities available to participants during Site Team at Summer Institute and preparing to lead Site Teams in using data to inform goal setting and creating an action plan. The later portion of learning will focus on learning about the new Elementary Implementation Tool.
