Event Description:
Discover the foundations of AVID in this interactive AVID 101 session designed for anyone new to AVID or looking for a refreshed understanding. Together, we’ll explore AVID’s purpose, the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework, WICOR®, and how AVID comes to life across elementary and secondary settings. You’ll learn how these components work together to support district and site implementation and reflect on how they connect to your role. Participants will also engage in focused note-taking to process learning using a device and the note-taking system of their choice. Come ready to explore, reflect, and gain practical insights you can take back to your teams.
