English Language Arts (2025–26)

The English Language Arts Community of Practice intentionally integrates reading, writing, speaking, and listening to build the literacy skills necessary to access rigorous content. Participants will explore strategies required to critically read various text types and consider how educators can use Writing, Inquiry, Collaboration, Organization, and Reading (WICOR®) to design effective instruction. Participants will engage thoughtfully with the writing process to create and share ideas that will support deeper writing implementation in the English language arts classroom, impacting students’ ability to create and effectively share knowledge and innovative ideas.
