AVID Elective Level 2: Tutorials and Refining Implementation (2025–26)

The AVID Elective Level 2: Tutorials and Refining Implementation Community of Practice engages participants in exercising their agency to address the 10 Steps of the AVID Tutorial Process. To further their refinement of implementing the AVID Elective, participants will deepen their use of strategies and resources, including the Weeks at a Glance curriculum and AVID Elective Standards.

AVID Elective Level 1: Implementing the Fundamentals of Instruction

Considerations

AVID Elective Level 2: Tutorials and Refining Implementation is for educators teaching the AVID Elective course in grades 6–12.

AVID Elective Level 2 supports practitioners in working through the 10 Steps of the AVID Tutorial Process after their initial year of teaching the AVID Elective but differentiates for those practitioners who have not yet taught tutorials.

Participants must have taken AVID Elective Level 1.
