Math Discourse Secondary (2026–27)

Mathematics: Cultivating a Discourse-Rich Classroom – Secondary (2026–27)
Starting in June 2026

Mathematics: Cultivating a Discourse-Rich Classroom — Secondary inspires secondary math educators to transform classrooms into vibrant spaces of student voice, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving. Through WICOR® strategies, mathematical language routines, and the AVID College and Career Readiness Framework, participants will explore how to foster a culture of academic discourse where students justify reasoning, connect representations, and co-construct meaning. This Community of Practice equips educators with practical tools to make math visible, rigorous, and engaging—for every learner, every day.
